Technical Diploma in Medical Emergencies Basic level

Online Diploma

The I.A.P Critical Medicine Foundation and Resucitando México publish this call for the 100% online cause diploma course with the objective of disseminating good practice in emergency care by technical personnel, giving priority to people who work in distant places in Latin America.

Directed in a friendly and supervised tutorial format, to facilitate the acquisition of skills or updating for people who work in ambulances and transport seriously ill patients, medical students, doctors interested in continuing education in resuscitation and nurses in critical areas.

General public: With interest in acquiring resuscitation and initial patient care skills, aspiring to study medicine, basic TUM’s interested in receiving continuing education

Nurses: Of all levels interested in acquiring skills for the initial care of patients in extra-hospital and in-hospital settings

Doctors: Medical students, health managers of land ambulances, interested in continuing education in resuscitation

Upon passing the diploma, our graduates will be competent according to their profile to:

Paramedics:

  • Resuscitate in out-of-hospital and hospital settings
  • Initially approach and manage serious patients
  • Identify organ failures and provide initial life support in coordination with your medical direction during interhospital transfers.

Doctors:

  • Provide remote medical assistance to your paramedics to address, resuscitate, optimize patients in primary care
  • Participate efficiently as a member of resuscitation teams in ambulances and critical areas.
  • Regularize and/or direct a medical emergency system in your community

Nurses:

  • Join a resuscitation team
  • Initially approach and manage serious patients
  • Serve as a first contact ambulance medical crew member

Admission request

If you are interested in participating in the selection process, please send an email to: aspirantes@medicinacritica.org with general information (CV) and a letter of reasons requesting admission. You will receive a response from the training council of the Fundación de Critical Medicine I.A.P. with the answer.

  • Starting on January 15, 2024, those accepted for the diploma will receive in their email links with a registration form and complementary data to complete the process. They must fill out and attach the documents requested there.
  • Request reports if you are interested in mixed or face-to-face modalities in Mexico
  • For other Latin American countries we suggest the online modality of all programs in this generation, starting from the second one, be attentive to the assignment of sites in your country for the clinics of each level.
