Technical Diploma in Medical Emergencies Advanced level

Online Diploma

The I.A.P Critical Medicine Foundation and Resucitando México publish this call for the 100% online cause diploma course with the objective of disseminating good practice in emergency care by technical personnel, giving priority to people who work in distant places in Latin America.

Directed in a friendly and supervised tutorial format, to facilitate the acquisition of skills or updating for people who work in ambulances and transport seriously ill patients, medical students, doctors interested in continuing education in resuscitation and nurses in critical areas.

Medical Director

Paramedics: With any advanced TUM course, graduates of the intermediate TUM diploma from Resucitando México and Fundación de Medicina Crítica I.A.P. or another intermediate level course.

Nurses: Practicing in shock rooms, intensive care, operating rooms, PACU, or interested in the approach and resuscitation of patients in their care.

Doctors: Medical students, health managers of land ambulances, medical directors of pre-hospital care services, those who wish to delve deeper/review advanced resuscitation topics.

Upon passing the diploma, our graduates will be competent according to their profile to:

Paramedics:

  • Resuscitate in out-of-hospital and hospital environments
  • Address and optimize serious patients prior to transferring them
  • Provide continuous care in coordination with your medical direction during interhospital transfers.

Doctors:

  • Provide remote medical assistance to your paramedics to appropriately address, resuscitate, and optimize their patients prior to interhospital transfers.
  • Participate efficiently as a member of resuscitation teams in critical areas.
  • Regularize and/or direct an emergency system in your community
  • Interpret monitoring and make informed decisions

Nurses:

  • Join a resuscitation team in critical areas
  • Optimize a patient prior to an interhospital transfer
  • Serve as a member of the medical crew

Admission request

If you are interested in participating in the selection process, please send an email to: aspirantes@medicinacritica.org with general information (CV) and a letter of reasons requesting admission. You will receive a response from the training council of the Fundación de Critical Medicine I.A.P. with the answer.

  • Starting on January 15, 2024, those accepted for the diploma will receive in their email links with a registration form and complementary data to complete the process. They must fill out and attach the documents requested there.
  • Request reports if you are interested in mixed or face-to-face modalities in Mexico
  • For other Latin American countries we suggest the online modality of all programs in this generation, starting from the second one, be attentive to the assignment of sites in your country for the clinics of each level.
